LOVER OF GRAVEL GRINDING AND SALSA CYCLES...MEET TRACY SORENSON !

New customer and new bike owner Tracy Sorenson has picked up 3 new Salsa Cycles in the last 3 months here at Colonel's. She's pictured here with her latest model the Salsa Vaya 2, last month it was a new Salsa Fargo! It just makes us wonder what she's gonna get next month! Tracy is not a bike collector, she rides these bikes in events such as the Dirty Kanza in Kansas a 200 mile dirt road race and the Leadville 100 mile mountain bike race in Colorado! She owns and operates an electrical engineering firm full time and is going to be a new mother in this new year of 2012! Not to mention she had to have her gall bladder removed a few weeks ago. So if you think you're busy and gettin' stuff done, just know that Tracy has got you covered!
Look for Tracy on a dirt road somewhere in the central USA near you!

MOUNTAIN FLYER MAGAZINE NUMBER 23 NOW ON SALE AT THE SHOP !

The new Mountain Flyer magazine just hit the store! Number 23 features a great piece on 26ers and are they dead? As well as a must read article on bikepacking that should help answer all the questions we get on the Surly Pugsley, like "what is that ridiculous bike for?" and as usual the best photos and ads you'll ever see in a cycling rag. It's the "Gucci" of cycling magazines and it's for mountain bikers...so we love it, read it and sell it here at Colonel's. So come on in and leaf through the new issue, but if you have it for more than 5 minutes we have to charge you $8.95 for "your new" copy..."this ain't Barnes and Noble!" Ha Ha !

5th annual GREAT SOUTHWEST BIKE SWAP
